Call for Tutorials

The APCCAS 2023 Organizing Committee invites proposals for Tutorials to be held during the first day of the conference (19-Nov-2023).
Tutorials offer participants from different technical backgrounds the chance to explore the latest trends and learn new techniques from experts in the field. There will be two categories of tutorials at APCCAS 2023; 180 minutes (three hours) and 90 minutes (one and half hours) tutorials.
Participation in tutorials and technical meetings is an excellent opportunity for lifelong learning. APCCAS 2023 is committed to supporting your professional development. Suitable tutorial topics range from emerging research areas to established techniques of practical and industrial relevance within the scope of the Circuits and Systems.

The tutorial proposals need not be limited to the above-listed topics.

TUTORIAL PROPOSAL GUIDELINES: The proposal needs to contain the following information:
  • 1. Format of the Tutorial: 180 minutes (three hours) and 90 minutes (one and half hours) tutorials
  • 2. Tutorial Title
  • 3. Area of the tutorial: List out the broad domain (s) the tutorial is covering
  • 4. Keywords: Provide 5 keywords
  • 5. Learning objectives: Explain why the proposed topic is important to the APCCAS / PRIMEAsia attendees and what participants will learn by attending the tutorial. Provide topics outlining the contents of the tutorial and the learning outcomes. These topics should be realistic, given the time available.
  • 6. Target audience: Enlist the categories of the audience that will get benefit from this tutorial
  • 7. Prerequisite knowledge of the audience
  • 8. Abstract: Share an abstract that allows conference attendees to quickly and accurately understand the subject and intent of the tutorial. The abstract should not exceed 1000 words.
  • 9. Lead Speaker: Maximum one-page professional biographies of the lead tutorial speakers that highlight qualification, experience, and contribution to the proposed subject area of the tutorial.
  • 10. List of Speakers: This is in addition to the lead speaker. Some tutorials may feature different speakers that should be advertised, but it is not necessary, nor a requirement. For example, a 180 minutes tutorial may have, at most, four different speakers, while a 90 minutes tutorial could have up to two speakers. If you plan to have multiple speakers, please provide their names, affiliations and short biography and clearly describe the parts of the tutorial that they will cover.
  • 11. Basic Structure of the Tutorial: Outline the time allocated for a particular sub-topic (s).
  • 12. Tutorials need to be presented offline in person only.
  • 13. For the selected tutorials with international speakers, an invitation letter and other required information will be provided by the conference.
